The Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC) is a trade association representing more than 2,300 members involved in home building, remodeling, design, housing finance, building product manufacturing and other segments of residential construction. A not-for-profit organization, the Association provides its members with networking and educational opportunities and represents them in matters related to government relations and advocacy. Founded in 1939 and located in Lombard, Illinois, the HBAGC covers Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will Counties. It is the oldest affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) who is headquartered in Washington, D.C.

The National Associations of Home Builders (NAHB) is a federation of more than 800 state and local builders associations throughout the United States. The mission of this Washington, D.C. based trade association is to enhance the climate for housing and the building industry and to promote policies that will keep housing a national priority. Chief among NAHB's goal is providing and expanding opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent and affordable housing.

Builder 20 Clubs are a unique networking and educational opportunity designed to help members maximize the benefit of NAHB membership. The clubs are comprised of similar type builders from non-competing markets who meet several times a year to share their wisdom and learn from each other ways to improve their operations. The members share and compare financial information, look for the trouble spots and offer each other advice on how to improve their performance.
